The property's character is undeniable, with stunning architecture dating back to the 5th century. Our stay in the spacious ‘Cone d’or’ room was facilitated by a small kitchen—ideal for budding chefs, though we only used it for hot drinks. The location features free on-site parking and is within walking distance to a charming local butcher and shops. While the ancient stone staircases lend character, be mindful of their unevenness. The amenities include a game room with billiards and a seasonal outdoor pool, useful for relaxing after a day of exploring. The chateau strikes a balance between comfort and value, making it a sensible choice for those seeking both history and convenience on their getaway.
